Pastor Danny Flippo was born in Brilliant, Alabama on June 6, 1961. He and Brenda were married in 1981.  They have 2 children; 5 grandchildren and one god-child.  Pastor Flippo accepted Christ as his personal Savior in June of 1994. He went to college in 1997 and graduated in 1998. Pastor Flippo started Faith Baptist Church in Jasper, AL in 1999.  In 2003 he led Faith Baptist to move to its current location in Cordova, AL.   He served the Lord as pastor there until 2012.  He followed God’s calling to Erie, KS in 2012 and took the Pastorate of First Baptist Church, Erie, KS.  In 2019, he led the merger of First Baptist Church with Temple Baptist Church to become Erie Baptist Church.  Pastor and Mrs. Flippo have continued serving the Savior in Erie, KS. for past nine years.
